03 - 1/2 cup granulated sugar
04 - 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
05 - 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
06 - 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour

07 - 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
08 - 1/2 cup rolled oats
09 - 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
10 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
11 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
12 - 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and diced
# How to Make It:
01 - Preheat the oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch square baking dish.
02 - In a large bowl, toss the sliced apples with lemon juice to prevent browning.
03 - In a separate bowl, mix granulated sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and 2 tablespoons flour. Sprinkle this mixture over the apples and toss to coat evenly.
04 - Transfer the coated apple mixture into the prepared baking dish, spreading evenly.
05 - In a medium bowl, combine flour, oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Add cold diced butter and work it into the dry ingredients using fingers or a pastry cutter until coarse crumbs form.
06 - Evenly sprinkle the crumb mixture over the apples.
07 - Bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until the topping is golden brown and the apples are bubbly and tender.
08 - Allow to cool for at least 10 minutes before serving. Serve warm, optionally with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream.
