# How to Make It:

01 - In a large shaker or mason jar, combine freeze-dried strawberries, thawed açaí purée or powder, white grape juice, and simple syrup.
02 - Muddle vigorously to dissolve the açaí and break apart the strawberries slightly, creating a blended fruit base.
03 - Add coconut milk and ice cubes to the shaker or jar.
04 - Seal the container and shake vigorously for 15 to 20 seconds until well-mixed and frothy.
05 - Strain into two tall glasses filled with fresh ice cubes.

# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • It tastes like that fancy drink you'd pay eight dollars for, except you just made it in ten minutes for practically nothing.
  • The whole thing is vegan and dairy-free, so you can share it guilt-free with any friend who walks through your door.
  • Shaking it yourself is honestly more fun than waiting in line, and your kitchen smells incredible while you do it.
02 -
  • If you skip the strainer, you might end up with gritty bits of freeze-dried strawberry stuck between your teeth, which I learned the awkward way during a video call.
  • Using canned coconut milk instead of the carton version will give you weird separation and a less creamy texture, so this is one place where the choice actually matters.
  • Don't let the açaí purée sit in the juice for too long before shaking, or it can separate and turn the bottom of your drink into a weird, murky mess.
03 -
  • Freeze some of this drink in ice cube trays, then use those frozen cubes in your next batch for a drink that stays cold and creamy without getting watered down.
  • If you're making this for a crowd, prep all your ingredients in advance and do the shaking right before serving so everything stays fresh and the froth stays at its peak.
